Townsend Enterprise Park Ltd has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to high performance through good people management.

Based right on the “peaceline” in Townsend Street,  between the Lower Falls and Lower Shankill areas in Belfast, the organisation has been committed to the promotion of urban regeneration  by supporting and developing businesses and social enterprises as a sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.   This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the company who during those years has worked through some very difficult times, being based on an interface, but with determination to succeed and make a difference is now a successful business which supports and houses 40 businesses with a collective employment of c300.

A registered charity the organisation is governed by a voluntary board of trustees with day-to-day operational management being the responsibility of the Chief Executive and a team of five employees.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
